At present, society produces a large amount of rubbish, such as leftover food, waste paper, used plastic bottles and batteries every day. Rubbish has become a big headache in every city and is becoming a major environmental problem. It makes our living environment and air worse and worse, and also makes our living space smaller and smaller. So how to solve this problem? I think rubbish classification is a good way to deal with it.
Waste sorting is becoming increasingly common around our country. I hope all of us can get involved in this meaningful activity. It is important because it can not only reduce the land pollution but also raise our awareness to protect the environment.
As citizens, we can do a lot for waste sorting. First of all, we should know about garbage classification and learn how we should sort the waste. Secondly, we can sort the waste by preparing some bins in different colors at home. Last but not least, it’s also a good choice to hand out leaflets in order that we could call on more people to join in the activity.
